Reviewing a clip

We email you when a paddler uploads a clip. It also appears on your Reviews page under To review, with the oldest due date first. Click it to open the review.

Notes pinned to moments

1. Play the clip and pause where you see something.
2. Click in the note box. The clip pauses and the note is pinned to that moment.
3. Write the note and choose Add note (or press Ctrl+Enter, Cmd+Enter on a Mac).

Click a note's time to jump back to it. You can delete a note before sending.

Summary and drills

Write what's working well, then two or three things to work on, each with a drill. The summary saves by itself when you click away from it.

Recorded reply (optional)

Talk the paddler through it, up to 3 minutes. Choose Record video or Record voice only, allow your browser to use the camera or microphone, then Stop. Watch it back and choose Use this recording, or Discard and try again.

Sending

Choose Send review to paddler. They get an email with a link to their feedback. You can't edit a review after sending it, so check it first.

If the clip can't be reviewed

If the boat isn't in frame or the clip is the wrong skill, message the paddler first; see Messages with paddlers. If it still can't be done, choose Refund instead to refund them in full.
